The brief
ABCmouse wanted a real-world adventure inside a working NHL arena, with enough access to show children what happens around a game rather than just the game itself.
The approach
The episode moves rink-side, then onto the ice, then behind the scenes, with a question a preschooler would actually ask at every stop: how does the ice get made, what is that machine, why is the mascot orange.
