My Reading Academy & My Math Academy
Adaptive programs that schools use to teach early reading and math, pre-K through fifth grade, with a Spanish reading program of its own. Each one finds what a child already knows and teaches what comes next. We made the lesson videos inside all three.

The brief
Three products for schools needed a lesson video for nearly every skill they taught, from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, in English and in Spanish, and they needed them fast enough to keep up with the software release schedule without the quality dropping as the count went up.
The approach
We built the production like a broadcast schedule: standing sets, a stable roster of on-camera teachers and hosts, scripts locked in batches, and a post pipeline sized for the volume. For My Reading Academy Español, Mark directed bilingual actors with the Spanish script in one hand and the English in the other. Visual effects carried a lot of the teaching: the behind-the-scenes demo shows how a lesson was built up in post. One song outgrew the classroom. Un Elefante se Balanceaba, made for My Reading Academy Español, did so well on the ABCmouse en Español YouTube channel that ABCmouse had us make it again with new animals: giraffes, gorillas, hippos, dinosaurs, and crocodiles. We cut three compilations from them, too.
